Hi all,
I haven't posted in a while but am slowly getting back into baking and creating treats for people.
Recent adventure is Sourdough.
My starter is called Doughlene so you may see some posts about Doughlenes creations.

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to take the time quickly to thank everyone who has supported me this year. Taking a break for the Christmas New Year period to spend with family and move house. Will be in touch next year.

Even with the cyclone and the silly government rules nothing was going to stop the bride and groom from their special day. The weather held off, the animals behaved and everyone had a great time from what I hear.
Many happy wishes for the young couple

Bottom tier- banana chocolate chip, chocolate Butterscotch icing and chocolate ganache lava center

Middle - red velvet cream cheese with crushed freeze dried raspberries

Top tier- chocolate mud with chocolate buttercream, crushed oreoas and raspberries

Covered in a white cream cheese semi naked icing

Fresh strawberries and blueberries with some roses and greenery to add to the rustic feel

Recent wedding cake for an awesome couple who had their special day at the Tuakau Cosmopolitan Club - Incorporated.
They chose Baked by Kelsey to do their cake which was a 2 tiered cake.
Bottom tier red velvet with cream cheese and raspberry jam filling. The top tier banana chocolate chip with salted caramel drizzle and chocolate buttercream layered. Covered in vanilla swizz merigune buttercream and a salted chocolate caramel drip.

A cake that BBK and DJs catering donated towards a great cause of Su***de Awareness for the Local Fire Brigades.
This cake is a chocolate cake layered with chocolate buttercream, chocolate ganache, salted caramel butterscotch, and chocolate swizz merigune buttercream. Chocolate salted caramel drip with chocolates and caramels as decorations.
Hopefully it will make some money in the raffles to go towards helping the families of the local firefighters who have been effected recently.
