Hey guys it’s been so long since I posted here the last 2 years have been a testing time however I have re built my life with a new hat on…

No longer a baker or a teacher… here is what I am up too please give me a follow there are exciting things happening 🩷

This is my own personal page/ blog about my journey to becoming apart of the brand new business called Flair and how I became one of the owners along with my partner and his son and daughter in law.

The past year has been quite the journey… long story short after separation 2 years ago from a 26 year relationship (21 year of marriage 21 when I married ) and I’m still good friends with, that began when I was 16 I was ready to find love again 🩷

A little naive 🤦‍♀️ having been in my former relationship since I was 16.
I sadly had met a couple of toads 🐸 along the way, who really tested my soul & one who I found myself at rock bottom over in my way of being!!
I didn’t let that stop me I believed in love & not long after met the man of my dreams a world away from my North Island life (second chance at real love). And as the saying goes from that moment on the rest is history!!

We have an amazing solid loving happy relationship and I spend 50 % of my time in Queenstown with him and working at our beautiful business & the other 50% is spent in the beautiful Bay of Plenty Tauranga area with my children & my dog who we share custody over 😂

I’m a proud Māma first & a former ECE teacher which after 25 years have only just left to work at our business. Im a partner to the most kindest caring man, co-business owner and a Jetsetter with my head in the clouds between my two lives flying back and forth..

So I haven’t posted in 101 days Meta tells me…. & while I was in Queenstown I got asked to whip up a cake. So I dusted off my dancing shoes and made this cake.. even without all my tools it was a fun cake!! Lemon curd and Raspberries with cream cheese icing.

And that’s a wrap, the last of the cakes on my books finished tonight. And for a sweet little friend of mine too!!
Presto’s Pantry is taking a long overdue break indefinitely I won’t be taking any orders for the foreseeable future. My life has had a giant change and it was time to hang up my apron.
Thank you all for your loyalty especially those repeat customers who kept me very busy. Your support and kindness will always mean the world to me, and I will always look back at each and every cake with a happy heart 💖

If you want cakes in the future while i take a break I highly recommend Amy Saunders who has an instagram page 3littlepansys.cakes she’s amazing a local as well to Omokoroa and Katikati..

I will never say never but until then I say see you on the flip side. Oh and I have a heap of cakes to upload which I will do sometime.

Its with a heavy heart I say this & totally Bitter sweet sadly 💔 please read 🙏
Alas this has been weighing on my heart quite a bit lately, & as I have always been an affordable cake decorator it hurts my heart to have to put my prices up.. it’s just not me to charge a small fortune!!

So I’m not sadly for the foreseeable future I will be taking very limited next to no orders at all, until things get better in the dairy department!! It has become no longer viable for me to do my cakes. And as I am now a single Mama I’ve taken on full time work in my other career. With the price inflation making each cake earns me less than minimum wage and although it was never about the money as it is a passion. It’s no longer doable as I don’t earn enough to survive as a single mum.

As it is still a passion I will do the odd cake so still hit me up as on the off chance I might be available but bare with me as my ingredients supply isn’t what it used to be.
