Some may argue every day is pink shirt day here at The Bagel Shop 💖

But today we take a moment to acknowledge what Pink Shirt Day really stands for and what it means to us.

We take a huge stance against bullying of all kinds. However, social media has made it far too easy for bullies to say their piece with no consequences.

It’s so simple for key board warriors to make a comment, write a post or send a message.

Although these may just be words to some, it’s so important to remember the impact social media bullying really has on a person, these are real life feelings, emotions & repercussions. Too many people sit back & watch this happen.

As a parent of two young girls myself, it’s imperative we remind our children to be strong, be resilient and stand up for ourselves & others.

Don’t be silent. Don’t be a bystander.
Speak up against bullying 💪🏼
