To all my awesome Customers and Fans.
Well, it has been a very long time since you have had a post from me, so I better make this one a good one aye!
My time has come to hang up the Oamaru Cake Lady apron and pass it on. After 9 successful years of being a MPI auditted and council registered as a home based cake decorator, along with all the other goodies, I have lost my enjoyment and passion for it. This, I believe is a result 2.5 years of my brain going faster than my body and causing some serious injuries. The latest can have me unable to stand for 4 days to the next day, dead legs that wont lift higher than a inch. Sometimes a mix of all the nerves involved are having a party but then other days, only 1 of the 4 nerves involved wants to have its turn. So for now all my plans involve waiting for surgery, my family and of course making sure my fire fighting family at the Weston Volunteer Fire Brigade have savouries cooked just right and some fun facts from me after training.
