Sometimes you begin to see things differently, and a realisation quietly settles in.
Right now, I am searching for peace. Peace in my body, peace in my mind, and the freedom to be fully present in the life I am living. I have realised that social media and the constant hustle of sales are no longer serving me.
I still love food. I still love cooking, and I still genuinely love my Thermomix. But the way I work is going to look a lot different from now on.
If you would like to purchase a Thermomix through me, I am still here to answer your questions by email or phone and support you with my knowledge and experience. However, I will no longer be offering large demonstrations, cooking classes or anything in the virtual space, and I won’t be posting on this platform.
If you are already one of my customers and need support, please reach out. I am here and always happy to help when you need me.
What I will no longer be doing is regularly checking in or contacting people about the latest offers. That way of working no longer feels right for me. If you would prefer a more active consultant who offers ongoing in person demonstrations, classes and regular updates, I completely understand. There are so many consultants to choose from today and I am happy to recommend some of the best.
If you’re the kind of person who just wants to purchase a Thermomix without all the extra fuss, you’re pretty self-sufficient but like knowing I’m here if you need me, then I’m your gal. I can send you my purchase link. If you just want a one on one to see it in action first, you are welcome to come to me and i'll make you a cuppa and give you a quick run through.

This isn’t about losing my love for what I do. It is about letting go of the parts that no longer feel good and creating space for a quieter, more peaceful way of living and working.

I had the best weekend in Nelson doing all things Thermomix.

On Saturday I caught up with one of my lovely customers who hosted a demo. I love these because they're such a relaxed way to show friends what you've been raving about, and as a bonus you get to earn some great host rewards too.

I also got to cook alongside Team Tasman at a cooking class. Thank you, Lonnie and the team, for always making me feel so welcome and for letting me continue supporting my customers in the region.

One thing I know for sure is that I never run out of things to say about Thermomix. Even after all these years, I'm still learning new tips and tricks.

So let's help each other out...

What's one Thermomix tip you wish you'd known sooner?

Pop it in the comments. I have a feeling we'll all learn something new!

The healthier I've become, the more I've realised my body tells me everything I need to know.
Looking at this girl, I think she probably knew it all along.
As kids, we seem to trust our instincts. We know when something doesn't feel right, when we need comfort, rest or space. Somewhere along the way, many of us stop listening. We get busy, distracted, and learn to push through.
I notice when a meal gives me energy, when my digestion is happy, or when something doesn't agree with me.
But lately I've realised it's about so much more than food.
The stress I carry. The people I'm around. The conversations I have. How much space I give myself to slow down.
Over the last few weeks I've had anxiety that I couldn't really explain. The rash on my face, while you can't see it anymore, I know it's still there under the surface. Years ago I probably would have reached for another cream or pill and carried on.
Now I stop and ask myself, What is my body trying to tell me?
More often than not, it's asking me to slow down. To rest. To ditch the alcohol. To stop the scrolling. To create better boundaries. To spend more time with people who leave me feeling calm instead of drained.
I'm learning that my body usually knows before my mind catches up. I'm just learning to listen again.
What has your body been trying to tell you lately?

I was the person who thought, "I don't need a Thermomix. I can cook."
I love cooking. I cook intuitively, so I honestly didn't think it was for me.
I only went to a demo to support a friend... and because I was curious. I walked away wanting one, bought one and then later on, because I loved it so much I ended up becoming a consultant. If you own a TM7, did you know you can do this too? No risk at all 🤍
It didn’t teach me how to cook, it let me do so much more. Things I never used to bother making from scratch like stock paste, curry paste, bagels, criossants, sauces and dressings, you can even make golden syrup and condensed milk from scratch!
These days I'm back to cooking more intuitively, but my TM7 is still my helping hand every single day. It doesn't get under my feet and it even whips up a espresso martini to sip on while I cook.
The Thermomix isn't just for people who can't cook. It's for everyone. The people who love cooking, the ones who don't, beginners, experienced cooks, young and old.
Were you someone who thought, "I don't need a Thermomix,"
What do you think now you have it?

How I feed my sourdough starter 🤎
Discard your starter (keep to make yummy things like crackers) until you have 100g left in the jar. Then add 100g water and 100g flour, keeping it at a simple 1:1:1 ratio.
Mix well, cover loosely and leave it somewhere warm until it doubles in size and becomes bubbly and active.
Once it's doubled, your starter is ready to bake with and make beautiful sourdough bread.

Part 2 is coming next, where I'll show you how I make the dough.

I’m turning 49 tomorrow.
I actually feel better now than I ever have.
Not every day is perfect, but overall I feel calmer in myself. Stronger. Healthier. More comfortable in my own skin.
Like most women I spent a lot of years being really hard on myself, so to be at a stage of life where I genuinely feel good feels pretty special.
Becoming a mum again at 40 changed me in the best possible way. She keeps me young, keeps me active and constantly reminds me not to take life too seriously. ( because mum, AI is gonna take us over 😆) Seeing the world through her eyes has brought so much joy and perspective into this stage of my life. Just live it day by day. One of the things I feel most grateful for is the relationship I have with my adult kids. Watching them grow into the people they are and still wanting me in their lives means everything to me. This stage of motherhood feels really special in a completely different way.
That’s not to say this stage of life hasn’t come with challenges. Perimenopause and a second marriage breakup has definitely thrown me around. It made me slow down, set boundaries, look after myself better and really think about what I want my life to feel like.
So I’m not really scared of ageing anymore.
If anything, I look at women in their 50s now and see strength, confidence, resilience and a real sense of knowing who they are. That actually feels pretty inspiring to me and hopefully to you too x

If you've been watching from the sidelines and wondering whether the TM7 could really be that much better than the TM6, I completely understand. I was one of those people who didn't think I needed to change what I already knew and loved.

But after using the TM7, I can honestly say it has been a joy. It's the little things that make the biggest difference. Faster, quieter, easier to use, and yes... no more waiting for those arms to unlock.

What I love most is that Thermomix hasn't just built a great machine for today. The TM7 has been designed to grow and improve with future software updates and new accessories, so it's an appliance you'll be using for many years to come.

Right now, for just $1 extra, you can extend the standard 2-year warranty to 5 years and receive a complimentary set of replacement blades. That gives me a lot of confidence in how much Thermomix stands behind this product.

For me, a Thermomix has never just been a kitchen appliance. It's the thing that helps me put real food on the table, saves me time, reduces supermarket trips, and makes cooking from scratch feel achievable even on busy days.

Is it an investment? Absolutely. But if eating better, saving time and making life a little easier are important to you, I genuinely think it's one of the best investments you can make in your kitchen.
