Margaret is a small home-based business working from home by Appointment only - has her 167 Handing Certificate. We are a Registered & Licensed Kitchen with Dunedin City Council . Member of NZ Cake Guild INC since 1987 and founder of the Taieri Cake Decorating Guild -- 23rd October 1993. Our aim is to make all our cakes as fresh as fresh each made individually -all made from fresh ingredients and are all made to home made recipes no cake packets are used . Remember we only made cakes to order-- We do not have any cakes made up for sale. Please order your cake at least 14 days before requiring it -as bits will need to be made in plenty of time for your cake order. Margaret’s advice to all Brides-to-Be is to start planning your wedding cake at 4-6 months ahead or longer to your wedding date. You’ll want it to be perfect and so do we. Don't leave it to the last minute to plan,-- we have to plan ahead as well as yourself. Your consultation may take an hour or longer. We do charge a small fee for a consultation fee. If you confirm your wedding cake at time of appointment then the price is taken off the cake price. Every detail of your cake is discussed at the initial appointment – from the shape, sizes, flavour, design, ribbon, icing, boards and decoration. So there’s a lot to think about! If you have a picture of your planned cake bring this with you to the appointment. Please confirm your order 2 weeks after your consultation as bookings do get taken this would be much appreciated. Margaret then can get to work – making your perfect cake for your perfect day. Good Things take time!! Margaret has many books, magazines, photos and her own experience to provide inspiration. There are 32 cake flavours to choose from: Fruit, (Family Recipe ) Chocolate mud (a great favourite), White Chocolate, Moist Chocolate, Carrot, Banana, Hummingbird, Lemon Madeira, Light Sultana, Coffee Red Velvet or Vanilla. For your special cake can even choose a different flavour for each tier! Cup Cakes -we can do these for you -to be real fresh we do not make them until the day before the occasion
10 flavours to choose from: Vanilla, Heavenly Chocolate, Chocolate Mud, Hummingbird, Carrot. Banana, Lemon Poppy seed, Caramel, or Red Velvet
