With a heavy heart I'm finally ready to announce the passing of my beautiful Mum.
A week ago today, Mum passed peacefully and quickly in Wellington hospital while holding Dad's hand.

Our family are so thankful for all of the support during Mums short battle and over this last week.

A lot of people have been wanting an update on Mum, Sue:
Mum moved into mine and my partners home for palliative care at the start of September.
This past week has been a real rollercoaster with mum being admitted to Wellington hospital.

One of our friends has set up this Givealittle page for us.
We are making daily trips over the hill to be with mum which is becoming a big expense and we have both run out of leave.
Mum has been in good spirits but the financial burden of the bakery is weighing heavy.
Just weeks before her terminal diagnosis, Mum had signed a new 2yr lease. I spoke to the property manager and she offered no leniency. I'm now personally going to be funding the rent, rates and insurance until the bakery sells.

A lot of our regulars already know, but due to devastating news in the family we are going to have to close up shop 💔
Amy's on deck today and this could be our last day open. So give her a call or a message if you want a work shout etc put together for today or tomorrow and she will do you a good deal.
She also has 6pks of cold pies for $28

During level 3 our hours will be 8am-2pm.

Good morning ☀️
Tomorrow we will be back up and running with 'at the door service'.
This means a table will be set up inside the door with eftpos where you can collect your goodies.
Re ordering via messenger or texting 0273737995 is preferred so we have time to get your order ready and can make sure we have what you are wanting.
This week the options may be a bit limited as we are starting from scratch 😥

We ask that you please wear a mask when you come to the door as some staff have underlying health conditions.

We are coming up with a plan of how to operate in level 3. Hoping to have a 'serve at the door' kinda thing set up on Wednesday. Will also keep the option of preordering via messenger so you can pick up at an arranged time rather than waiting

Good Morning everyone, we are back! We are going to be starting up contactless deliveries this week but sticking to Thursday only delivery at this stage since Sue has to travel from out of town.

Orders need to be made via messenger by 8pm Tuesday for delivery Thursday afternoon.
We will reply with an invoice Wednesday morning with account details for payment. Please note there will be a $3 delivery fee.

I will make a separate post with whats available and update depending on availability.
