Hello there Rotorua fab customers
Tomorrow we will have bread to Ricco ( formerly Vetro).
Been well over a year now after my shoulder surgery.
All your old favorites like Seed Vicious. Pumpkin and parmesan, Fruit and walnut and Rosemary and Olive. Also of course AwaWild sourdough and baguettes.
Great to be able to supply you again.

Today is exciting because I am delivering to R n Bees berries on the way into town to both Fresh Market and Bin Inn.
So if in the area where R n Bees is then you can pick up some fresh baked sourdough.

Hello fab customers
After about 18 months of downtime, like wild yeast, Bread Asylum is rising again! Tomorrow we are baking and delivering to both Fresh Market and Bin Inn in Whakatane.
Yep you heard right, tomorrow is the day!
Laurent is here today giving me a hand and I am trying out my shoulder after surgery early this year.
So as Laurent is here you know the bread is going to be great!
We are making the full range including Seed Vicious, Pumpkin parmesan and sage, Rosemary and olive and Fruit and walnut, baguettes and AwaWild to of course.
Hope you can get down to either store tomorrow to get your sourdough fix!

hi fab friends and customers.f luck Bread Asylum
Well it has been just over 2 weeks since I had surgery on my shoulder.
I have a further couple weeks to go wearing a sling then physio starts.
Overall the shoulder may take 6 - 12 months to repair!
However I reckon I am a good healer so with a bit of luck Bread Asylum should rise again by maybe Labour Week-end????

Hello all you fabulous customers!
Unfortunately my buddy who has been helping me whilst my shoulder is injured, has been doing his day-time job this week.
So sadly no bread deliveries this week.
He is returning to France next week to visit his elderly Mum for a month ( he is a good boy).
He is keen to help out on his return.
This will be great as he is a fantastic sourdough guru.

Hi all
Great news Laurent is here helping out again so Bread delivery to WHakatane Bin Inn and Fresh Market this Thursday.
Also Rotorua we can deliver on Friday ( been a while)!
Looking good for next week too and maybe even the week after.
Fantastic to keep the Bread Asylum brand still out there and of course our absolutely authentic sourddough breads.
WE do NOT put any shampoo or conditioners or any other foreign s**t in our breads!

Get in quick while it is still fresh.

The amazing Laurent was able to help Maurice yesterday - Fantastic! Fingers crossed we may be able to do it next week too.

Good morning,

Quick update on my wounded shoulder.

I have seen an orthopaedic surgeon who sent me for a MRI scan. I see her again on 22 August to discuss the results and to discuss a plan from there.

So, at the moment I am still unable to bake for you guys.... very sorry. But as wild yeast does.... Bread Asylum will rise again!

I am determined to get back into baking again as soon as I am able.

Hi fantastic customers.

A quick heads up on my shoulder injury.

I am seeing a Specialist soon (24th July) and will then get some idea of what is wrong and how to fix it. Will leave you all a message as soon as I know from the upcoming appointment.

So, until then I am still out of action in the bakehouse.

Hi there fabulous Bread Asylum customers,

Letting you know that my shoulder injury needs more rest, while I am waiting for the specialist to check it out.

So over the next wee while bread making will be rather hit and miss. There will be no deliveries this week and next.

I will keep you all posted as to progress. Thanks for your understanding.
