Paradise IN A SLICE, Kihikihi (2026)

This little hustle has grown from a family fundraiser to support my children's School, into a way for me to combine my love of baking with my need for a creative outlet.

Good morning all 🤗 Hope you're enjoying this beautiful day 😍

You may, or may not know, that Paradise IN A SLICE actually began just shy of 2 years ago as a fundraiser for our Children's Kura - Kihikihi School. After being fairly new to the area, and spending our first term at the school, we decided to bake some Caramel Slices (a family fave!) over the school holidays and donate $5 from each box of slices to the school. Well. I ended up baking around the clock, day and night, for 1 week straight - and as a family we were able to donate $700! Talk about mind blown! I then had people asking me if I would continue to make them and sell them - thus Paradise IN A SLICE was born.

We have since raised...
- another $300 for the School - totaling $1000
- $150 for the Kihikihi Rugby Club, and
- $450 for the Kihikihi Skatepark Project

BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN MUCH,
I TOO MUST GIVE 🩷💜🩵💙

Which brings me to now 😅

This Friday night we will be raising money for my Niece Janaiah, and the rest of her rowing team - so that they can comfortably afford to reach their rowing goals this month.

I will be there selling my slices, and also my cheesecakes. There will be other delicious options there - dinner and dessert sorted 👌

Today's order was a White Chocolate & Lemon Cheesecake 🤗 I am by no means a cake artist, and trying to pipe anything in this heat is probably not recommended 😅 But it was a bit of fun while the kiddies were at school and kindy 😊

Hi Everyone! 😁 I'm not sure how... but I'm grateful to have 35 page likes - despite the fact that I've not ever posted, and have given my profile absolutely no love. Posting about my personal life isn't something that comes naturally to me - you'll notice this if you check out my personal Facebook profile 🤗 I am, however, aware of the power of social media and the positive affect it can have on small businesses - thus my 2024 goal to be more active was born.
