It all started with the kids birthday parties when they were young and then friends began to ask if she could make their cakes. Now Lisa has a bunch of regular customers who use her to make their celebration a memorable event. Her creativity is renowned locally and has led to her teaching others how to model fondant or decorate cupcakes and cookies. Each project is a chance to let her creativity t

ake over and she especially loves the clients that give her a bit of freedom to create from a rough idea. The birthday's in our house are a chance to explore new tricks or areas to develop her skills, although speaking as the official sampler of all sweet things her imagination and creativity knows no bounds. Hello hello! I am doing a small run of these cookie boxes if anyone would like to order some. Similar to the photo attached with 8 cookies to paint, a cookie paint palette and two brushes. This large fruit cake had a handpainted owl scene with dimensional holly hanging with a light dusting of "snow" amongst an airbrushed sky. Certainly not weather we have here in NZ but I see some of my English buddies have a bit of chill happening!❄️❄️

I would like to thank those who pop online to see what I have posted, comment and like etc. I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and safe and healthy holidays to you and your whanau.
In Caboodle news I am shutting down early next year, its been a hella quiet year for me (the garden is rather large however 🫣) and its time to be a big girl and go out into the big wide world...hi ho hi ho. I have been so very very lucky to be involved in some amazing events and celebrations and to watch some of your families grow year by year.

I have sooo many cakes from days past to upload and I will be doing the odd cake for friends. Not to mention the family is a bit of a needy bunch so I wont be gone gone...if you all still wish to hang around for some virtual cake that is,... that will lets face it still likely be quite sporadic in its uploads!

I also have fruit cakes, Texas muffin sized at $7 each - perfect wee gifts. Also 6 inch fruit cakes that are boxed at $45 each and these are approx 1.4 kilos in weight.
All cakes have almonds on top but none inside. I do have two small ones with no nuts...because we are all nuts enough at the moment!

Paint your own cookie boxes will be at my open evening next week. These have 8 wee cookies and a cookie colour palette as well as two wee paint brushes. See the event for more information and have a freaking fabulous friday x

This Wonka styles hat was for Louie's 5th birthday which was held at Flip. I have been lucky enough to have been a part of this families celebrations for many years. Louie is a lolly kid so the theme was I assume a no brainer.
All edible two tiered hat with actual chocolate in the Wonka bar. Golden ticket has Louie's party information on it.
