DOTS IS TAKING A PAUSE 🤍
Dear friends,
14 years ago, whilst studying, this girl decided to pick up a hobby and of all things, she chose baking. What started from just my sister taking my bakes to work for her colleagues grew into a small business. I joined bazaars, my bakes were just up on my own social media under my own name. Baked with my own two hands and shots on my old iPhone. Then came the era of my cheesecakes in jars that created a name for itself that led me to meeting so many people from all over and created sooo many memories and so many relationships.
Fast forward, 7 years ago I decided to pause my bigger ambitions and stay home to be with my children but these hands never knew what to do when it has nothing to do so I began going back to baking and never thought it would grow into what it is throughout the years.
A small humble business but the experiences I got to experience was just extraordinary for me. Because I never knew it’d take me that far. We’ve journeyed from the cheesecake era to the vanilla bean choux and the banoffee pie through the years together 🤍
Though I have posted on my story announcing my pause but because of the many, many DMs that I can’t possibly reply one by one on orders these few months, best I post on my feed.
I’m taking a pause. For how long? Indefinitely. I’ve been with Dots for all these years, it’s time for me to take a new path of adventure to find what else is out there for me. No promises on coming back but hey, I just might if the fire reignites and the stars align, In shaa Allah.
But I thank everyone for all the love, I thank you for taking me here. If you’ve been here for 14 years, thank you, you have such a special place in my heart. If you’ve been here from Dots and throughout Dots in these years, I thank you. Thank you for the love from all over Malaysia and even Brunei and Singapore. I mean, I am so so blessed.
May our paths cross again.
So much love&gratitude,
Signing off (for now),

Farisya
