So Kiki's French Croissants is still on hold and looks like it ll be for a while longer, 😔

2 sprained wrists, trapped nerve and dislocated disc's in lower back will do that to you.

So I am very sorry, you won t see our stall at the Multicultural Food Festival but we ll be there enjoying all the treats and performances instead.

Hope to see some of you there!

Quick update:
Kiki's French Croissants is on hold for the time being, Time to re evaluate.
Baking from scratch with one hand due to a sprained wrist has proven to be quite challenging.
I will keep you posted when business is open again.

I personally love this weather
but the pastries ...not so much...
Heat and humidity have made a whole week of failed overproofed pastries...
so disheartening, time consuming and costly

Oh how I long for a real bakery,
the joys and tribulations of homemade baking...sigh

Maybe I should rename them :
pastry "a la flat pancake"
what do you reckon?
