Officially DEREGISTERED.. yup you heard that right. The amount of orders I do, I cant quantify paying the same amount for council verifications, MPI fees, and ICC council registration as a full scale commercial kitchen that pumps out large amounts of hot food daily to my teeny tinny dozen a month orders. Around $600, which means I would make like 600 a year (if that) before tax's. Naaaaaaah, not for me. I choose to do so little amount of orders to keep my own peace (my life is seriously chaotic 98% of the time).

Let's hope my literally months long shelf stable product will be next on the list for MPI to cut the red tape from!

Anyway, since I've had a bit of time this year amongst life's chaos, I spent about 10 hours on my first ginger bread house. There may be a bit of a draft but I looooove the cottage vibes, my kids thinks its magic and my house smells of gingerbread 🥰

A dozen cookies for a soon to be brides bach get together. I tried out an all edible lace mat - wow super frustrating to work with but I think my mat was waaaay to intricate.

We're getting close to christmas (wtf how did that happen so fast?), should I do a Christmas presale this year? Maybe some personalised lumps of coal 😭, or a personalised cookies from Santa with your little ones name? Paint your owns? Any suggestions?

I have sooo many messages in my inbox recently that I need to get through.. admittedly, I've been a little burnt out from cookies which is why I've been MIA.

Also, the price of butter... amongst other ingredients. I tried alternative cheaper 'butters' to try and make things cheaper on customers, but they taste like crap if Im honest. And not to forget life in general. Netball, polyfest, kapa.. this winters been tough on my little family and now I'm currently fighting for my life from some viral nasty ass bug.

Anyway, I think its time to blow the dust off my equipment and get some orders going. If you've messaged me, Ill get back to you within the next day or 2.

Here's a pic of Stella's mermaid birthday cookies that made their way all the way Chch - completely unscathed and in perfect condition (lots of bubble wrap). Ariel is all royal icing and edible marker, and the name cookie is an edible icing sheet on fondant. Super cute!

I don't usually do cakes on my birthday but I made one for my kids to give me.. and its cookies of course! Dark chocolate chip and brownie 'cake' layers sandwiched between whipped buttercream and dairy milk ganache..

I've never truly been a fan of fondant, so I'm glad I found a recipe for rolled buttercream - literally the buttercream taste but works just like fondant! Less playdough, more melty and delicious 🫣

I am soooo excited about my early birthday present 🫣🥹

Edible printer with soooo many awesome ways to use! From branding and business logos to super personalised cookies to add to sets like cookie polaroid snap shots with your pictures straight from your camera!

And the awesome thing is printing is super quick so that means I can offer these at a cheaper price then cookies that take hours and hours to ice 🤭

I've had so many enquiries about custom cookies, I know you guys really want them (🥹 tysm) and I really want to find a way to give them to you without paying out of my own pocket and burning myself out. Watch this space I guess? ☺️

A special set of cookies for a very special girl. With just purple, orange and green and few pictures on pinterest as my inspo, I had to use a lot of my creative juices to capture her essence - soft and gentle, bold and bright, fun and free spirited, vintage and old soul. I was so nervous to show her my finished work!

A little bit extra special is that I did my very first 'set' of personalised cookies for this same special girl when I was a fresh newbie cookier for my brother to gift his new girl on valentines - she still has them in her freezer 😅
