It’s that time of year again
Ive been getting ready to go to the T**i island
I have just finished putting a plucking machine together.
What a mission that was.
Nice to get it done
One new machine good to go.

It’s been a poor season. Quality t**i are in short supply.
It seems like the food supply was disrupted in some way this season.
The parent T**i stopped feeding their young and departed on their migration before the T**i chicks were fully developed.

As a result I have a limited number of A grade buckets
My catch is less than half of last season with many more B grade t**i for sale.

All birders I have spoken with have had the same experience this season.

10 litre buckets are $520 delivered
I only have a few of these. They have 22-23 birds

4 litre buckets are $290 delivered
The A grade have 10 or
B grade have 11-12 birds

New this season
5 litre buckets are $340 delivered
A grade have 12-13 or
B grade have 15-16 birds

This is the second raffle that I’m running for a special lady who is battling a nasty form of cancer.

She and her whanau are going through a lot.
She is a mother of 5 young children and has had 2 rounds of treatment.
She is a good lady that works and gives her time to her community

She has a good heart and gives a lot.
She is a mother of 5 young children and breadwinner.
