A huge congratulations to Barbara Matthews who took out 1st place in our Floral Art Competition with her Miniatures and Petites design! 🌿

2nd place goes to Thelma Rapley, Cascade Design 🌿
and 3rd place goes to Merle Snell, Dutch Flemish Period Design 🌿

Your People's Choice winner 🏆🌸

The People's Choice award for the 2026 Landscape Design Awards goes to Siobhan Keating of SK Gardens, with Groundcover Landscaping . A massive congratulations, very well deserved!

A huge thank you to every landscaper and designer who built a garden for this year's show. Creating these spaces in just a few days takes serious talent and graft, and every single one of them was worth the wander!

2nd place goes to Tidy Gardens
3rd place goes to Department of Landscaping
and 4th place goes to BMK Carpentry and Landscaping

Four days, hundreds of exhibitors, and thousands of you through the doors at Claudelands. Thank you for coming, for asking questions, and for making this weekend what it was.

This is the team who put it together. Months of planning, four very big days, and a lot of coffee.

Thank you to our exhibitors, our presenters, and everyone who came along. The Waikato Home & Garden Show will be back next year, and we cannot wait.

Three days of familiar faces, big hugs and handshakes, and people who've worked all year to make this weekend happen. 💛

Thursday, Friday and today have been something else. Packed aisles, big ideas, and a whole lot of people walking out with a plan they didn't have when they walked in.
There's still a couple of hours left today, and then tomorrow is the last chance before that's it for another year. If you've been telling yourself you'll get to it, this is the bit where you actually have to get to it.
