I started at 5 years ago, with the intention of working part time and learning more about running a business so I could make my cake business even better.

And then I went full time and never left! My day to day now involves printing edible images, hosting cake classes for both kids and adults, looking after the social media and customer service. So it's great being able to help others with cake decorating advice and their projects without making a mess of my own kitchen 😅

I love the friendships I've made with other cake decorators and seeing the custom images I've printed on their cakes. Makes me all chuffed like 🥰 I was able to play a teeny tiny part in that process.

I still make the odd cake here and there, but working at Sweet Pea sure keeps me busy!

#15 Case closed - Firetruck🔥 This cake was for a young boy turning 3 tomorrow. He was in the back of the car when it was picked up and his little face lit up in awe😮 It is the best part of doing this. This cake was donated by the wonderful Deborah Gibson. This cake was made in collaboration with AnnaLee got lots of cool tips when she made the awesome firetruck.
Cake details - 6” Chocolate cake with dark chocolate ganache filling and a white chocolate ganache finish. Fondant truck and painted details.

Found time in my crazy day to bake, so tried my hand at making a inspired cake today!

Wanted to keep this semi naked cake looking simple but with some kick ass flavours.

Lemon cake with creamcheese buttercream. Filled with swirls of raspberry and lemon curd.
Topped with dried flowers, coconut and a touch of rose gold leaf

You guys know I’ve been busy lately... but!... I’ve got a little bit of extra spare time next weekend for baking, so I’ve decided to collaborate with The Cake Detective!🕵️‍♀️👩🏻‍🍳🍰

The Cake Detective hit my radar recently as Laura is an upcoming local baker with an inspiring message of creating cakes for children in foster care.

We plan to have a fun baking session, find out more about her cause and also giveaway a delicious chocolate overload cake to you guys!!

Another for another one of my cousin’s babies today 😋
I have been staring at the at work every day for the past few months and finally found a reason to use them .
