Kia Ora! It’s been a while since I was last on here... After my last wedding post during Matariki 2023, I found out I was pregnant with our 4th pēpi! 😆✨ Under the bright whetū of Matariki, te tau hou Māori, a time of renewal began, bringing with it a precious new chapter for our whānau 🥰

Our pēpi is now 11 months old, and I’ve been loving making the most of our time together, she has been the best pēpi! Can’t believe she’s almost one! Now, it’s about time I whip up some keke and get back into mahi.

Limited orders are now open for the year ahead — please email only at [email protected]

Wedding Keke for my sisters Wedding on Matariki Friday - Mr & Mrs Eukaliti

This is the biggest cake I've ever made. 5 tiers of 12"/10"/8"/6"/4" + two 5" cakes to gift. Unfortunately, I couldn't lift this one for a photo this time 🤣 the bottom 2 tiers were at least 35kg alone they were heavy as heck, so I'm grateful for my hubby doing all the lifting. Last weekend's cake was 9"/7"/5"

Cake flavours were all baked and made from scratch

4" Whittakers white chocolate mud cake filled with whittakers white chocolate raspberry ganache

6" Whittakers white choc mud cake filled with salted caramel swiss meringue and salted caramel sauce

8" Whittakers white choc mud cake filled with whittakers milk choc ganache

10" Chocolate cake filled with whittakers milk chocolate ganache

12" German chocolate cake with whittakers milk chocolate ganache

All cakes covered in swiss meringue buttercream

The 2 extra cakes were 5" chocolate cake filled with Whittaker's Chocolate Lovers milk chocolate buttercream and were gifted

Me to my sister Tirama:
Hurry up and take a photo this cake is sooooo heavy 🤣 this cake was at least 30+ kg 😅

Each tiered cake had 4 layers of dark red velvet cake filled with snickers filling - a layer of whittakers milk chocolate ganache, then a layer of peanut butter swiss meringue buttercream and swirls of my freshly made salted caramel sauce

Delivered this cake for a 21st birthday early yesterday afternoon before heading out to my sisters hens party from 2pm till 4am 😅 but I still made it to church today, a bit late 🤣. I will bake all this again and more for her Wedding on Matariki this coming Friday woohoooo

My Journey with such an amazing organization - The Generator has been life changing and such a blessing to me! I started doing cakes for my tamariki only and it turned into a business by accident after so much demand from my amazing whanau and friends on facebook. I had no idea how to even start or run a business, I just knew how to make the cakes but The Generator helped guide me through everything, registering my business, using HNRY for accounting, having a registered kitchen through the council (legal requirement for foodies). I am now proud to be a Tuakana/Teina/mentor to help others through their applications.

If you have a community service card and would like to level up your side hustle or start a business that uses YOUR skills and talents, and be guided through how to properly set up a business like myself who had no idea , register your interest at www.thegenerator.org.nz and be ready to level up! We help with up to $2000 in the trial phase.. next video I will share how I spent my $2000 to start up my business.

With the cost of living these days I find more of us are working multiple jobs to keep going and I love how The Generator is here to help

I was one of Whittaker's Chocolate Lovers very first recipe testers and this is what I created for my niece's 1st birthday cake

2 tiers of Whittaker's dark chocolate mud cake filled with Whittaker's creamy milk chocolate swiss meringue buttercream. Top tier is covered with a pink Whittaker's white chocolate swiss meringue buttercream and bits of 24k gold leaf

The wood look bits on the bottom tier I handmade with Whittaker's dark chocolate. Melted the chocolate down and poured onto baking paper with a spoon making different sized wood look panels taller than the bottom of the cake then ran some texture through it with the spoon. Set the chocolate firm in the fridge and dusted with edible gold lustre dust.

Sitting at the top is the Whittaker’s dark ghana chocolate nest with the beautiful Whittaker's cocoa pods and dusted with gold lustre dust. To fit on top of the cake I had to make a mini version but loved how perfect it went with this cake 😍 Nest recipe here:
https://www.whittakers.co.nz/en_NZ/recipes/chocolate-nest/ or check out the website

I also make all the cake toppers myself

Thanks for having me Whittaker's 🥰

I had the privilege today to give back and celebrate 30 years of The Salvation Army in Manukau, Auckland. I left Hamilton at 4.30am with my 3 children to deliver this especially to them for their beautiful celebrations today as they totally deserve it.

What I LOVE about baking the most is using my talents to celebrate and bless the lives of others (and their puku's of course 😜) I love using my talents to give back where and when possible and it always means alot to me , even if the only other person that knows is Heavenly Father.
My love language is acts of service and I love serving those in need, as well as give back to those who constantly give back to others such as The Salvation Army. They are such a beautiful organization and bless so many each and everyday.

Have a beautiful weekend everyone x

Kia Ora everyone!

I'm Teniqua and I'm based in Kirikiriroa/Hamilton. I'm from the East Coast, Ngāti Porou. I'm a wife to my amazing hubby of 11 years and a māmā of 3 beautiful tamariki who are 11,8 and 6.

I started baking when I became a mum at the age of 18. I had no idea what I was doing and they turned out ugly as heck 🤣 but I gave it a go, learned from all my failures and kept grinding and perfecting my talents with every family members birthdays. I'm the eldest of 10 and had lots of practise on them all lol and now I'm baking all sorts of goodies. I was on a baking show last year in Aotearoa wasn't the best experience and not a reflection of how I bake in real life but gave it a go anyway 🤣 👀

My amazing business mentors advised me to make a page. I've been on Instagram since forever so it's about time I showed up on here hahaha so it's not a fake page guys it's legit me. But still watch out for fakes and don't click any weird links

Grateful for everyone's support over the years

Ngā mihi
