It was a wedding cake for one of the most special people in my life.
Never mind the fact that I live in the South Island,and the wedding was in Hunterville πŸ˜‚
I made the cake at my little sisters house,she doesn't even own a wooden spoon πŸ™„ so that was fun to start with...
Once loaded up to travel to the venue,there was sadly a horrific accident on the road which sent is via a detour,for 3.5hours,down a One way gravel track (Turakina Valley road from Taihape to Hunterville,if you know..you know haha)..in 30Β° summer heat 4 days after Christmas..
It was a wee bit crooked by the time we arrived,but after the journey getting it there,it's a miracle it made it at all πŸ˜‚
The bride and groom loved it and that's all that matters to me πŸ₯° x
