After 28 incredible years serving the Bishopdale Community and 32 years owning 5 bakeries, we have decided it’s finally time to hang up our aprons and retire. It’s time to hand over to someone younger and full of energy to make their own mark on the Bishopdale and Edgeware areas.
We would like to thank the many many loyal customers who have walked through our doors over the years. So many of you have become true friends to us and our wonderful team behind the counter. We couldn’t have done it without your unwavering support.
Our last day of normal trade is Friday 31st July and all stock must go.
Thank you for all so much for the memories, the well wishes and decades of support.

The Easter season is once again upon us. We are pleased to offer our popular mini iced biscuit packets, which are a particular favorite among children and provide an excellent alternative to chocolate treats. Additionally, we have on sale larger iced Easter bunny and Easter egg biscuits. Our hot cross buns, full of fruit and spice, are currently available and always receive exceptional feedback from our customers, who frequently describe them as the best in Christchurch. Due to high demand, our hot cross buns often sell out daily, so we recommend placing an order or arriving early to secure yours.

Our popular hot cross buns are in store and selling quickly, along with our usual Easter kids' biscuit packs and large Easter bunny and egg biscuits. Due to high demand, we encourage you to grab these items now before they run out. We also accept phone orders for our hot cross buns until the day before Good Friday. Don’t miss out!

Ma Baker Edgeware are looking for a permanent Part Time person to work Thursday 11am till 5.30pm and Friday 11am till 5.30pm, the job requires the person to have customer service experience preferably, be reliable, willing to work extra days if required, always happy and enjoys a great work atmosphere, full training given to the successful applicant including barista coffee making.

Ma Baker Edgeware require a part time person to fill our Sunday 7.30am and Monday 6.30am morning shop opening shift, finishing 2pm.
Duties include
: opening the shop,
: filled roll and sandwich making,
: coffee making,
: customer service,
: general food prep and presentation.
If you are looking for a new challenge and have some experience with all or some of these duties we would love to hear from you.
A bonus for the successful applicant is free coffee and lunch while you are at work.
