Hello, is anyone still here? :)
I wanted to share a little life update with all the wonderful Sweet Alchemy supporters. It’s been a month since my little business, my husband, and I moved to Christchurch in search of better opportunities.
It didn’t take long before I baked my very first honey cake here in Canterbury! I really hoped it would be as well loved as it was back in Wanaka… and it was! :) Empty, wiped-clean plates were proof enough!
Today, I also delivered a couple more cakes—one small, the other even smaller—just a little something to nibble on. Both were delicious carrot cakes with cream cheese filling sweetened with white chocolate and wrapped in brown sugar Swiss meringue buttercream.
My new kitchen is officially blessed with its first bake, and I’m happily stepping into the next sweet adventures ahead! :)
