After much deliberation I have decided not to renew my Marriage Celebrant licence.
Being a marriage celebrant has been wonderful and I have been blessed by the couples that have chosen me to marry them.
The love stories, the magic on the day, the funny unplanned things that have happened, the joy and love of families - it’s all been so heart warming.
I thank everyone for their support.

I read an article the other day which listed all the important things you should ask or expect from your celebrant. Turns out I do all that. Here are some of them:

🌺 I will meet with you and your partner prior to any decision so you know whether I’m the right celebrant for you.

🌺 I only ever do one wedding on the day. That means whatever happens - there is no panic.

🌺 Travel costs are included in my price within Canterbury and include visits for wedding plans, rehearsal and of course the big day! If you’re outside Canterbury, we talk about the extra cost but there is no markup on my costs.

🌺 You approve the ceremony I write. If you don’t like it, I rewrite it till you do.
