2 cakes this week = 19 hours of late nights/early hours of the morning, spent creating them. All very worthwhile tho, to have very happy recipients who loved their cakes. Both were my favourite recipe, chocolate cake. It cuts perfectly and tastes devine.

This went cake went down a treat. 6 inch chocolate cake filled with vanilla buttercream. It was a fun one to create.

Oops, forgot to post a couple of March cakes. Firstly a birthday cake, vanilla & fresh raspberries with cream cheese frosting. The second, a chocolate cake with ganache filling and chocolate buttercream frosting to celebrate 30 years of NAWIC, (National Association for Women in Construction.) 2 celebration cakes for a very special person, my daughter Emma. This 6 inch, 3 layer chocolate cake filled with chocolate buttercream and topped with handmade sugar paste flowers was a hit. It was a surprise for the recipient for her 80th birthday and she loved it.
