I’m baking a tiny test batch of fresh, gourmet donuts for our Te Atatū Peninsula community tomorrow as a soft launch for my relaunch of Kuki Doh on in September in Mangere!

Featuring Originals ($4.00) and our gourmet dessert Kuki Krumble from our Remix Collection ($7.50)

The purpose of these soft launches are to reintroduce the Remix Collection to the masses here in Tamaki Makaurau. They were massive back in Ōtautahi and so with a new-improved recipe and feedback, the Kuki Krumble has elevated!
Because the batches are small and they sell out within minutes of posting, I’ll double the amount to 40 so more people can enjoy the taste of Kuki Doh Originals and Remix donuts 🍩🤤 Pre-orders open on Monday after 12pm!

Testing out the NEW-NEW recipe! Originals have a new flavour hit and the ganache for the Remix Tonoti aka Kokonut Ruff, hits different!

This homemade screen print template was the start to something new. Unfortunately, my old iPhone which housed the humble beginnings of Kuki Doh | Tonoti Collective have been lost to the nether… some of it exist in archived stories.
This here was a photo frame, with stretched out sheer, then layered with emulsion, set in a dark place then put the stencil I made in Procreate which was printed on transparent film and exposed to sunlight. Wait a few seconds then wash it with cold water to reveal the transparent stencil!
It really was fun. There were a couple of failed trials but once I dialled it in, it was all go from there.
I manually measured and cut the cardboard myself and placement was easy with a makeshift mount. .
Would I continue this method next time round? Maybe for a future pop up but definitely have a plan to streamline the process without extra expenses.

Kia Orana everyone! Raiden here!

It’s been 3 years since Kuki Doh closed its doors to live a new life in Tamaki Makaurau, and this has been on my mind lately. I’m thinking to do Kuki Doh up here out in West Auckland. Nothing concrete just passing thoughts. I know most of you are from Ōtautahi and moving here put a halt on the biz.

For those who aren’t, would this be something you’d want? Kuki Doh started out as a fundraiser for my acting studies yet I’m still getting requests for Remix boxes 😆😆

I’ll have to hit the markets and pop ups here and there so I can gather some groundswell Finding work up here is tough and so, with my graphic design/motion graphics and filmmaking, I could do something pretty cool.
