All our products are created in a CDC registered kitchen. By confirming an order with All You Need is Cake, you agree to our Terms and Conditions as outlined below.
1. Design
All our cakes are handmade Cake decorating is an art, therefore, the photos you provide for your cake are used for inspiration only. Please note that we are unable to copy these exactly, and our design
ex*****on will be an interpretation of these photos. Ingredients and Allergens
All You Need is Cake appreciates the importance of using premium ingredients to create premium creations. All our baking and decorating stock is sourced from trusted suppliers. All our cakes and sweets are freshly baked to order and include dairy, gluten, and, on occasion, nuts. Gluten-free and Dairy-free cakes are available on request, however, please note that our kitchen is mostly used to prepare foods that contain these ingredients. Please consider this before confirming your order.
3. Photography
All our cakes are photographed on our premises and/or the venue prior to or upon delivery. All photos taken are the property of All You Need is Cake. We reserve the right to use the photos for advertising, on social media, or on any other platform as we deem necessary.
4. Collection, Delivery, Travel, and Cake Care
Always lift the cake by the base of the box, rather than the sides. When picking up your cake order, it is suggested that two people are in attendance, so that there is one person in charge of the cake. When travelling with your cake, it is best to place it on a flat surface in your car. The passenger footwell or the boot is best. Do not leave your cake in the car or in a warm room. Heat and higher temperatures will cause the buttercream in your cake to melt. Please note that once the cake is handed over to you, we are no longer responsible for it. We will not replace or refund any cakes that are damaged after they have left our care. Hours of pick up are strictly pre-arranged. Please do not come outside of these hours as we might not be able to serve you. Cakes not collected after 24 hours without contact will be sold, donated, or given away. Delivery within the Carterton District is available for a small additional charge.
5. Cake Cutting
For your safety, remove any cake toppers before cutting into the cake. Our tall cakes have support straws inside them. Please take care and remove the straws as you cut through the cake. Your cake is best consumed within three days of your event. Leftovers can be stored in the fridge. If your cake has fondant, refrigeration will compromise its integrity. If you must store a fondant cake in the refrigerator, protect it by wrapping it with plastic film and placing it into an airtight container. We do not recommend freezing leftover cake.
6. Payment terms:
Approval of concept and design is required before baking commences. Any variation or alteration to the conditions and specifications may increase the quoted price. A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining 50% must be paid in full at least seven days prior to pick up or delivery of your cake. Cakes under $200 must be paid in full on confirmation of your order.
7. Refunds and Cancellations
As your order is made to order and perishable, we are unable to accept returns. Any issues with your cake must be reported back to All You Need is Cake within 24 hours of your event or pick up. For refund consideration, All You Need is Cake requires the faulty cake to be returned within 3 days of the event. If you are unable to produce the uneaten cake we will not consider a refund or replacement. In the event of cancellation, work already completed is still chargeable. All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made 72 hours before the pick-up/delivery date cannot be refunded. We understand that Government restrictions, forces of nature, and/or acts of God may result in the postponement of your special occasion. In such instances, All You Need is Cake is happy to postpone your order for a duration of up to 12 months or apply a credit for future cake orders.
