I survived my first full week back at work! 🎉
Thank you so much to the couple of clients who trusted me with their orders this weekend while I figure out what my new normal looks like juggling full-time work and cakes again.
At this stage it’s looking like I’ll be able to take on 2–3 orders on weekends and 1–2 during the week, but I’m still working out what’s realistic.
I currently have two spaces available for next weekend and a couple of spaces during the week coming up if anyone is needing something sweet.

As always, thank you for the continued support while I find my rhythm again 💜

✨ BIG (BITTERSWEET) UPDATE ✨

Okay friends… I have some news.

Order spaces are about to become a little more limited because I’ve made a very tough decision.
After pouring my heart into the business I built from scratch, I’ve decided to step back slightly and join the world of the full-time worker. Yes. Me. With a schedule. And probably shoes that aren’t covered in flour.
This business has been my baby. I built it in between school runs, appointments, late nights, early mornings, and all the chaos that comes with being a solo mum. It gave me something I’ll forever be grateful for, the ability to be there for my kids when they needed me most.
That was always the dream. And because of YOU, I got to live it.
You supported me. You shared my posts. You trusted me with your birthdays, weddings, baby showers, corporate events and “just because” treats. You recommended me when you didn’t have to. You cheered me on when I doubted myself.
Sweet Spot Creations isn’t going anywhere… she’s just evolving. A little less availability. A little more structure. Same sass. Same quality. Same buttercream obsession.
What this does mean is that spaces will be limited and I will book out faster, especially for weekends and events. So if you’re thinking about ordering, please get in touch early. Once I’m full, I’m full.
From the bottom of my buttercream-covered heart, thank you for helping me turn a dream into reality and for allowing me to build something that supported my babies when it mattered most.
Now excuse me while I practice being a “normal working adult.”
