Join us at 3pm on Wednesday, June 3 as we parade our draft of eleven for this year's National Weanling Sale at New Zealand Bloodstock.

Our draft includes young stock by our sires Almanzor and Hello Youmzain, along with Bivouac, Farnan and Savabeel.

Almanzor’s 3yo filly The Ritz triumphs under Sam McNab for Wexford Stables.

Bred by Valachi Downs and raced by Jasmine Casey, The Ritz is a half-sister to the talented galloper turned sire Savile Row.

Congratulations Jasmine, it was terrific to see the colours back in the winner’s enclosure again.

After knocking on the door in recent starts, Gate Crashers burst through in style this afternoon courtesy of a daring front-running ride by Wiremu Pinn.

Trained by Shaune Ritchie & Colm Murray, the son of Almanzor was bred by George and Maryanne Simon out of their mare Sweet Inspiration.

Congratulations to all involved.e

Bulgari gets his reward, the son of Hello Youmzain has been competitive in many of the 3yo features throughout the season and his class shone through today Ellerslie.

Bred by Jamieson Park, Bulgari is out of the stakes placed O’Reilly mare O’Naturelle.

Congratulations to all involved.

Pounce lived up to her name to take the honours in a competitive 2YO event at Ellerslie.

By Almanzor, we bred Pounce out of our twice-winning Darci Brahma mare Caminata and sold her through New Zealand Bloodstock.

Congratulations to Wexford Stables and Pounce’s large ownership group — you have an exciting filly on your hands!

Chris Waller was full of praise for the stock of dual Group One-winning sprinter Hello Youmzain after Hello Captain produced an impressive victory at Warwick Farm during the week.

Hello Captain has continued a hot streak for his sire in recent months, which has included the stakes winners Drops Of God and Enchantment as well as the stakes performers Silken Salute, Persian Wonder, Naraghi, Sweetest Thing, Platinum Diamond and Cool As Bling.

The Captain salutes.

Hello Youmzain’s promising son, Hello Captain made it 2 wins from just 3 starts with a stirring performance, coming from last at the top of the straight to run over his rivals in impressive fashion.

Congratulations to owner Glenn Ritchie and Chris Waller Racing, who purchased Hello Captain from us in conjunction with Guy Mulcaster from New Zealand Bloodstock.

War Eternal earns a truly well-deserved taste of black type success as the Bjorn Baker Racing-trained galloper breaks through in the Listed Bernborough Handicap.

A son of Pierro, we bred War Eternal from the Fastnet Rock mare Aleria and sold him at New Zealand Bloodstock to his trainer alongside Jim Clarke for $160,000.
