Hey team
A bit of a long and sappy one but here we go.
The Block Cafe and all its chapters will be coming to an end. We didn’t think the day would come for a little more longer, but quite frankly it’s been so great but so difficult at the same time. And in all that, we’ve had to make a tough call and this is it.
A big big heartfelt thank you to every one of the lovely customers we’ve been able to experience over the last five and so years, our regulars for being just terrific, and to our team throughout the years, thank you beautiful people. You’ve been legendary. Despite our gazillion ups and downs, we kept a strong and united front and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
And as a personal note, I am not going anywhere! The Block Cafe may be leaving but a new venture is on the horizon! Please don’t mind some tears and sobs through this week haha!
To the memories, to the laughs, to the cries, and to the future 🥂
Our last week of service is this week, therefore our last day as a cafe will be Sunday the 14th April, our last evening service is tonight, and until further notice Movenpick will be closing at 7pm every night however, when we are up and running hours will return to later evenings!
And don’t fret, our coffee guys are superb, they are creating a space in our movenpick side so coffee will never and shall never stop! Hours for this will be up soon too.
