We were just given this photo of our shop by the nice people of the Otahuhu Business Association. Taken in 1969. We have added a photo of the same window now! If you check us out on Google maps you can use street view to do a full 360 walk around inside our shop. A lot has changed in 49 years!

Wow it's 2015 and we are celebrating 50 years! Yes Eileen has been working in that window for 50 years! Thats a lot a wedding cakes and birthday cakes and now she is making cakes for the grand children of some of her first customers!

We will be doing various things to celebrate our 50 years the first being a 50% discount for our Face Book fans on our www.photocake.co.nz web site.

Back in 1964 there was no edible printing, no personal computers, no internet, no..... You get the idea!

On Thursday the 21st of November just after 8 PM some idiot school boys did some mindless vandalism to one of our display cabinets. If any one could put as name to one of these boys we will happy track them down and give them the bill for the new glass!

This was our first treat me deal and we gave a full year to redeem. Well it's just coming up 3 months are we are half way 150 redeemed from 300 sold. The 2Kgs are going out even faster at 171 redeemed out of 400 sold in only two months!
