Harry Potter Birthday Party!
For my son's birthday we went to 'Hogwarts' for a special celebration. I had so much fun getting creative with this theme and converting the classic train cake to the Hogwarts Express! The kids even got to play ping pong Quidditch. I think he was one happy wizard!

Family adventures are the best! I cherish the time and memories I have with my kids so much and seeing the pure joy on their faces as they explore and experience new things is priceless! I help to keep these memories alive by capturing them into photobooks for us to enjoy and re-live for years to come!

We recently went on a camping trip to Ohope Beach. We had so much fun! These photos are only a few of my favourites and I can't wait to carefully design them into a photobook that will re-tell our exciting adventure!

I love getting creative with my kids' birthdays!

My son is obsessed with Harry Potter so for his birthday I'm putting my creativity to the test, starting with the invitations. The 'official' Hogwarts letters have now been delivered via 'owl' to two of his friend's families, to have a small gathering from within our group of family friends.

I combined some ideas from the internet, and added my own to personalise it. The invitations were printed on parchment card from our home printer. My son is very excited to see what else I can come up with!

My kids got their letters from Santa today 🎅
Thank you North Pole Mail for helping to bring the joy and magic this Christmas. The letters are beautifully crafted and personalised, and my kids were grinning from ear to ear!

Halloween Lockdown Edition. We did 'reverse trick or treating' this year to spread some cheer - the kids decorated envelopes and put candy in them to leave on the doorsteps of friends and neighbours, they had so much fun with it!

We're getting crafty for Halloween! We made these ghosts and bats from paper towel rolls.

Instead of 'trick or treating' this year, we're doing a candy scavenger hunt at home, followed by watching the movie Hocus Pocus. The kids are very excited!

We are so grateful for beach picnics! Especially with french pastries and treats!

Last weekend we went to Little Bucklands Beach for a walk and a play. My son is obsessed with everything french at the moment, so we got some delicious goodies from French Bakery. He absolutely loved his lemon macaron!

The Lockdown Birthday - one of creativity and improvisation!

I love getting creative when it comes to my kids birthdays. When it comes to lockdown, it makes it even more of a creative challenge!

My daughter wanted a unicorn birthday, so challenge accepted! 🦄 🥳 🎈
We re-purposed the unused invitations and hung them up as bunting, made unicorn balloons (the horns are made out of a cereal box and painted), turned a horse cake recipe into a unicorn, had unicorn 'p**p' (Allen's chocolate covered raspberry lollies with toy shovel) and we even used the paper roses that my daughter made for one of her online school tasks.

The smile on her face was totally worth it!
Challenge complete ✅ 😁
