I made a chicken curry for our guest yesterday… thinking I’ve got dinner sorted 😌🔥

Then he walks in with a surprise from Nani ….fish curry, fresh rotis, dhal rotis…

And just like that, our table turned into a full Durban-style feast 🤤🇿🇦

We ate like we were sitting in one of Durban’s best curry spots… but honestly, nothing beats home.
Nothing beats food made with love, tradition, and real flavour.

Thank you Nani 💕

Moments like this remind me why I do what I do with Devine Bakes…

What my weekend looked like…

Friday: a full snack platter🤤

Saturday: 2 catering orders ✔️
Fresh biryani, fried samoosas, rotis — all from scratch

Sunday: butter biscuits, more samoosas, puri pathas

No pics of most of it because I was fully in the moment working 😅

But this is the part people don’t see… the long hours, the consistency, the showing up no matter what

Building something bigger, one order at a time 💛
