Thank you everyone who came to the David Fonseca concert last Saturday. This was the very last activity of Pastel de Nata.

INVITATION
Dear friends of the Pastel de Nata café:
As you know, we had to close our doors in May. It was a sudden end to our business and not by our choice.
From the beginning we tried to make our café more than a place where you buy sugar. We wanted to share a little bit of the Portuguese culture that we love not just through food, but also through music, art and joy for life.

With the support of Cosmopolite we have had the opportunity to bring to Oslo some of the top musicians of Portugal and it gave us a lot of pleasure to do so although it never brought us any profit.
It felt like an odd ending to just close from one day to the other and that's why we decided to go ahead with the two concerts that were already scheduled for the year.
Conan Osíris gave an amazing concert in June and next saturday we'll have a concert with David Fonseca that we just know will knock your socks out.
That concert will be the very last activity of Pastel de Nata, so we want to invite you to come and say goodbye to us. Your presence will mean a lot.

We have an amazing show prepared: the night will start with Senhor Doutor singing his sassy portuguese songs. We had to invite him because he played at the opening night of our café. Then David Fonseca, the first artist we brought to Cosmopolite, will do his incredible multimedia show. Our good friend Elvira Nikolaisen will join him in for some songs and we can hardly wait to hear them repeat the magic of their first encounter on that stage in 2015.

So, please come, bring friends. If you can't come, buy a ticket and give it to a friend. We appreciate and need your support since the concert is paid by the ticket sales.

in 2015 David Fonseca sung three songs with Elvira Nikolaisen, one of them was this wonderful version of Bruce Springsteen's "I'm on fire". We look forward to see them together again at Cosmopolite Scene on the 21st of September!
