Dear friends,
My Ugly Baby opened its doors (and heart) to you in 2017. We have made doughnuts and coffee by hand every day since. Serving you has been a privilege and a joy.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that, although we would like to, we can no longer continue as we are. In order to move forward in a sustainable way we must close the kitchen. The last day of production for doughnuts will be Saturday, September 16th.
We are deeply saddened, because we have been so proud of what we have served you over the years, and the hands behind it. We are grateful to be able to keep the shop and most of our team in tact, and will continue serving you hand-roasted and brewed coffee everyday under the name Lille Oslo. However, we are losing some incredible people from our kitchen crew. Please reach out if you are looking for some wonderful people to join your own team, as they are amazing at what they do.
We are ever growing, changing and adapting. Both as businesses and as people. As we look forward to what is to come, we must also look back and honor the journey that got us to where we are. The dreams. The ideas. The long, sleepless nights. The twists and turns of it all. The team. The community. You. We will spend this month celebrating everything that has made this place so magical, leading up to our “Last Day of Doughnuts” on the 16th. Everyone is invited. Let’s make it a celebration. Let’s honor the stories we have; the smiles and the laughs we’ve shared throughout the years.
