From blue in the back to purple in the front, and every shade in between.

33 today 🦚 celebrating doing what I love doing the most: walking in the forest 🍂🍄
Main lesson of the last year: I am so much stronger than I think I am. I can do (almost) everything. And if I can't do something on my own, someone beautiful will be there to help me. Blessed with incredible people in my life ❤️
I was forced to face my fears and came out alive. Now there's less fear and more openness

.music has been woth me for years abd somewhere along the wat sje turned from a client into a friend 🤎 She rocks my colourful extensions in her natural dreads - they totally complete her look. She recently biked all the way from Amsterdam to Ibiza (!!) and also plays theost amazing melodic techno, I always dance my dance off at her sets.

Best thing to ever come out of my work 👯‍♀️ was one of my first dread clients and became my very best friend. 5 years. We've grown, our dreads have grown, our friendship has deepened and blossomed. Forever grateful ❤️

From a few dreads in 2014 to this glorious full mane ✨️ 's journey has been slow and steady: she first came to me with a couple of rows made by someone else, and we kept adding more until there was nothing left to add. We abandoned extensions in the end, because her hair grew long enough, giving this playful layered look I adore so much 💛 Swipe to see the evolution

One of the favourite aspects of this work is creating dreadlocks for all the inspiring women that come my way. Choosing dreads often symbolises something extra for women than for men. There's this part of reconnecting with our deep roots. Remembering. Reclaiming our power that we were forced to shrink, quiet down, bury deeper and deeper, generation after generation. Until we ourselves almost forgot it was ever there. Almost.

Now let it burn.

Nothing's more powerful than women supporting each other's fire.
