Chocolate is my favorite. I’ve never imagined that I could use chocolate for decorations, but I discovered so many ways of using it. In time, the chocolate has told me almost all its secrets. It’s true, it’s more difficult to use it for decorating cakes because it’s fragile, but to me chocolate is chic, classy and it tells you so many stories. I’ve discovered that a black and white combination is better than one thousand words, and also than one thousand colors. I’ve worked in television, for more than ten years, maybe that’s why I’m obsessed with images. I hope you can see that in my pictures. I can see the world only as a painting J. Plus, I graduated a faculty of letters, so I’m obsessed with books. And now, with cooking books. I like Gaston Lenotre and his amazing follower Pierre Herme. Actually, I love them, and I’m still discovering them. My passion for cooking has blossomed after I gave birth to my kids. Cookie, cookie, cookie, all day long. And so, cookie has become the center of our little universe. Our cookie grew bigger and bigger just as in fairy tales. I hope you’ll like my world. This is not a story about cakes, this is a story about life and passion.

I couldn’t resist taking photos of these beauties. Colours make me happy. All kinds of colours. The colours of cakes, of days, of moods, of seasons, of life itself. Colours make us feel more alive.

These are today’s and tomorrow’s cakes, available until 6 pm (5pm tomorrow). I was so excited that I didn’t even manage to put them all on the tray! I forgot the dark chocolate ones, waiting patiently in the fridge.🥰

Come by today or tomorrow to try them, enjoy a little treat with a cup of tea or coffee, or take some away with you. Today or tomorrow, because on Monday I’m off to discover some other colours. 💛

A magical day, because there was no expectation, no fixed plans, only the surprise of the moment. A day like this is worth several good therapy sessions. A day like this can feel like hitting the jackpot.
Life has gifted me days like this many times, just when I was told, sometimes in my right ear, sometimes in my left: “No, no, no. It’s COVID, it’s the end of the world, you have to do this, not like that, you need to change this, to give this up, this or that will happen to you if you don’t listen.” It’s a good thing I’m a little deaf and, lately, a little blind, too.
And yet, life is life, and it goes on.
That is the only truth.

The little stars, the little wrinkles, the little happenings of a Tuesday the 13th. Plus papornița, the ultimate accessory. And the laughter that carried us across Paris, from Les Abbesses to the far end of Montmartre Cemetery. We walked thousands of steps, maybe tens of thousands, and sent hundreds of laughs into the air, floating into the sky, like invisible helium balloons that followed us everywhere. A day that feels like 13 days.
