Take some time out with a spot of tea and a selection of scrummy delicacies from the kitchen of an English lady. We serve a high tea delivery service in Hoorn. Each high tea includes the option of three sandwiches, two savoury pastries, scones (with jam and cream), three sweet desserts and three choices of blended teas. Cost per person is €25 and there must be a minimum of two people. We also offer a freshly made scone, cream and jam service or delivery of home made English cakes.

To celebrate Valentine's day during February we are including luxurious red velvet cake in our English High Teas. Enjoy a High Tea with a loved one on 14th Feb, or enjoy one even if you don't have a Valentine - that's what cake is for.

During January we have some lovely home made Dundee cakes in our Mrs Potter's Place high teas!
The Dundee cake was invented in the 18th century by a Scottish marmalade factory who had a surplus of orange peel and every Dundee cake MUST have orange in the recipe.
Dundee cakes don't have any alcohol in them but there is a bottle of whisky in the photo because it's always nice to have something warm in winter if you want something different from a cup of tea!

Oh my, we have a fabulous tea at Mrs Potter's Place: Royal Winter. A white tea Cui Min with cinnamon, cardamom and rose hip. It also have a warm note of ginger at the end. Delicious!

This tea isn't on our menu but ask for it when you order and we can include it in your English high tea delivery.

It's almost January and those with Scottish heritage will be celebrating Burns night on the 25th January!
So this month try our Scottish influenced high tea. You have the chance to try:

Smoked mackerel and horseradish pate sandwiches
Ham and mustard sandwiches
Curried egg sandwiches

Mini Yorkshire pudding with cream cheese
Vegetarian haggis sausage roll

Scones with jam and clotted cream of course
