Wat een mooi resultaat!
We zijn trots dat we mochten helpen om jullie schoolplein te vergroenen!

Ons schoolplein is afgelopen jaar een stuk ‘groener’ geworden.
Dit voorjaar hebben onze leerlingen hun ‘eigen’ varens mogen kweken bij Vitro Plus B.V. Inmiddels staan ze in de plantenbakken op het schoolplein en worden ze goed verzorgd 🌿💦

Back in our assortment and available on vitroplug192 or K50-tray from our greenhouse only: Cyathea cooperi a.k.a. Australian Tree Fern!
This tree fern, originating from Australia is one of the most adapted tree ferns for growing in temperate areas. It grows quickly in a humid, warm environment and can withstand a very short, light frost period, but certainly needs a winter protection. Ideal as a patio plant in a large pot in a wind-free location that you can take inside your home during the cold winter months.

Our marketing consultant Paul Ras, from Sense Marketing and More, recently visited the Keukenhof and, alongside the beautiful bulb flowers, also spotted a great many beautiful outdoor ferns. Thanks for the lovely pictures, Paul!

What a beautiful time of year this is. The days are getting longer and sunnier, and the ferns in the greenhouse respond to it immediately — it’s as if they are waking up… What beautiful photos, don’t you think? 🌿

Vitro Plus Acadamy
At Vitro Plus, learning never stops! 🌿
Our (new) employees regularly take part in training courses where they learn all about ferns, but also about sterile working, bacteria, and fungi. Topics such as what is photosynthesis?, growing in a climate cell, explanations about the vitro plug, and the journey from culture room to greenhouse are all covered.
All of this knowledge and training helps us ensure that our products are produced in the best possible way — with care, precision, and a passion for quality. 💚

It’s becoming increasingly fashionable again in Holland to place a bouquet of artificial flowers in the living room. We came across this beautiful bouquet in a hotel in Amsterdam—don’t you think it’s stunning? Of course, we were especially drawn to those beautiful, prominently featured fern leaves! 😉
Nevertheless you can understand we would prefer to see fresh fern leaves instead of this 😊

To keep pace with our growth in fern production, Vitro Plus has once again invested in specially developed LED trolleys.
These innovative systems combine high propagation capacity per cubic meter with optimal growing conditions. The result: stronger, more uniform plants of consistent top quality — a clear step forward compared to conventional lighting.
In addition, the trolleys contribute to a more efficient production process. Thanks to their multifunctional use as storage, internal transport, and propagation systems, logistical handling is significantly reduced.
With this investment, Vitro Plus continues to respond to the growing demand for healthy, strong young plants — today and in the future.
