I just received my copy of Scandinavian from Scratch, which I pre ordered months ago. Love the clear instructions and beautiful outcomes. Immediately dove into the Raspberry Squares, which in my case is round and with lemon decor instead of frozen raspberry and the Blackberry Tosca Cake. My coffee / tea platter is ready for this fall 🍂 evenings’ tennis matches. Really looking forward to trying the other recipes. From a Dane in the Netherlands I send you my love and gratitude 🇩🇰🎂❤️

Othello Cake… The Othellolagkage is named after Shakespeare’s great tragedy Othello which was written in the early 1600’s. Lagkager or Layered cakes are very popular in Denmark and the Othellolagkage is the “creme de la creme” of layered cakes, a true Danish classic.
