Sunflower Seed Crackers – a tasty snack that's much healthier than processed snacks full of salt and preservatives. They're rich in plant-based protein, healthy fats, and minerals.

You can enjoy them as an afternoon snack or a breakfast paired with cheese, vegetables, dips, or anything you like.
There are two versions of the recipe: one gluten-free and one with gluten.

🌿 Gluten-Free Version:

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) on the convection setting.
Prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Ingredients:

¾ cup raw sunflower seeds (unsalted and not roasted)
¾ cup water
1 tablespoon olive oil
Salt to taste
Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Spread the mixture thinly and evenly over the parchment paper (no need to grease the paper). If you like, sprinkle sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, nigella seeds, caraway, or any topping of your choice on top.

Bake for 10 minutes. Then, remove the tray, cut the crackers into squares using a pizza cutter or knife, and return to the oven for an additional 7-10 minutes. Turn off the oven and let the crackers cool inside. Once cooled, transfer them to an airtight container.

☘ Gluten Version:

Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F) on the convection setting.
Prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Ingredients:

2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons whole wheat or rye flour
Salt to taste
Blend all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Follow the same steps as the gluten-free recipe above.

🟢 Note: Baking times may vary depending on your oven, so be sure to keep an eye on them to avoid overbaking.

The move to Amsterdam nine years ago was full of excitement.
I was thrilled to start a family in Holland with my Dutch husband and our baby.
I had many expectations and dreams... But also, many disappointments.
My family, my friends, and all I ever knew, were 5-hour flight away.
At the age of 29, I started everything from scratch - which might be nice when you're a child, but not when you're a woman who wants to establish and build herself.

A combination of various factors led me to turn to food, I didn't wanted to feel so alone, I wanted to compensated myself, or just simply, to pass the time.
Over time, my emotional eating intensified, I started gaining weight and my self-confidence started to drop.
but I dealt with it. I did many treatments to heal myself.
And from this place, (very low place) I do what I do today- Helping women start living the lives they truly want through emotional eating balance.🌸

So what does emotional eating mean?
It means forgetting how to cry and instead, eating.
It means food is a reward, a punishment, a comfort, a coping mechanism.
Emotional eating means eating without feeling full;
it's taking a step forward... and another three back.

Few years ago, I decided to close Nana-Vera.
I didn't make a public announcement; I simply disappeared...
