Hi friends. Whew, it's been a while (again). I think I just don't like Instagram. Doesn't feel natural. But seems the universe is saying to return so here I am. I've noticed lately quite a few people finding my Instagram profile through my blog and I wanted to just say 'hi' and at the very least make an effort to share some new recipes I've been posting on the blog.

This is one of my favourite recipes of late. After the overload of rich food over the holidays, this hearty veg. and chickpea soup is exactly what I needed to move towards lighter meals (without ripping the comfort-eating band-aid off all at once). It's a really easy recipe to make with simple plant-based ingredients but so flavorful and comforting.

It was a savoury Dutch baby kind of morning. This baby has a mix of leeks and herbs baked into the crust and it's topped with homemade sage and parmesan meatballs, caramelized onions, mushrooms cooked with butter and thyme, and a herby yogurt and mascarpone sauce. Went all in on brunch.
