*Number 1 Lady Upcycler Baker has bagged her first degree*
Combining studies, especially my department, Science Laboratory Technology, and business is not an easy task. It all started during the global pandemic when I attended an online training which led to the birth of my first brand, .Fast forward to the following year, I attended upcycling training which led to the birth of my second brand, , and also made me fall in love with environmental sustainability.
Going through the stress of school activities and focusing on the two businesses and my nonprofit organization was a huge task beyond my age. I faced lots of challenges and this led me to focus on one business and leave the other. Program of two years switched to three years because of the pandemic and the Asup strike made me lose interest in schooling. 🙄 But my dad didn't allow that😁.
Alhamdulillah, here I'm today signing out from the first and the best polytechnic in Nigeria as a Lab technician.
I'm a proud product of Yaba College of Technology, shout out to my wonderful Lecturers (Mr. Mohammed, Dr. Odunlade, Mr. Ajipe, Mrs. Faremi, Dr. Ajagbe, Mrs. Abdullah, and Mr. Aderibigbe) and my HOD (Dr. Popola) for being a source of inspiration and motivators.
