If you've followed this story from the beginning, thank you.

WE'RE STILL HERE - PHED SERIES:-FINAL PART:

Because this wasn't just a story about PHED.

It was a story about what happens when a small business is hit by something completely outside its control.

Several weeks without electricity.
Food destroyed.
Orders cancelled.
Orders returned.
Customers disappointed.
Money lost.

A generator that also packed up at the worst possible time.
And a business owner who, at some point, genuinely wondered:

“Should I just shut down?”

But I didn't.
I kept looking for a solution.
I kept trying.
I went to the PHED office for four consecutive days.

When talking wasn't working, I wrote.
I wrote eight pages.
I followed the proper channels.

And eventually, my electricity was restored.
The LOR charges were dropped, leaving only an administrative charge something I'm still questioning and trying to understand why I had pay that one......

But today, the most important thing I want to say is:
TIMeless Kitchen IS BACK.
We are fully functional.
The kitchen is working.
The freezers are working.
The fridge is working.

We are ready to take your orders again.

And after everything we've been through, we need you.
Not sympathy alone.
Your patronage.
Order that meal you've been craving.
Order that cake.
Order your small chops.
Order foodtray.
Get your parfait.
Buy our Greek style Yogurt.
Order Tigernut Milk.
Buy our Green Veggie Extract.
Order food for the office.
Order Crunchy Granola
Chinchin, Bulk Meatpie & Bulk Doughnuts are all obtainable.

Fresh Family Bread Loafs (Fruits, whole wheat & Sardine) variants are all available.

Because behind every food business you see online are real people, real money, real effort and real sacrifices.

And sometimes…one difficult month can shake everything.

But one thing about Timeless Kitchen?🔥🔥
WE ARE STILL HERE.
And we're ready to serve you again💃💃💃💣

THIS EXPERIENCE TAUGHT LESSONS - PHED SERIES:- PART 4:

This experience taught me something I will never forget.
Sometimes, knowing the right thing to do is more powerful than shouting.

I had spent four consecutive days going to the PHED office.

Four days of explaining.

Four days of trying to get someone to understand the situation.

Four days of frustration.

And meanwhile, my business was suffering.

I was throwing away food.

Returning orders.

Refunding customers.

Watching prepared small chops spoil before their delivery dates.

Opening freezers and seeing money I had invested in food literally turn into waste.

And there were moments I cried.

There were moments I genuinely thought:

“Maybe I can't continue.”

But instead of giving up, I changed my approach.

I wrote everything down.

Eight pages.

And I followed the proper channels.

I'm sharing this because I want somebody reading this to learn from me:

When you're facing a difficult situation, sometimes talking isn't enough.

Document.

Write.

Keep records.

Follow the proper process.

And don't assume that because something didn't work the first few times, it can never work.

My letter eventually got their attention.

The matter moved.

The major charges were dropped.

My electricity was restored.

And today…

Timeless Kitchen is still standing❤️.

But now comes another challenge.

Rebuilding.

Because electricity coming back doesn't magically bring back three weeks of lost income.

It doesn't replace the food that went bad.

It doesn't bring back the cancelled orders.

It doesn't recover the customers who had to be turned away.

So if you have ever supported Timeless Kitchen…

THIS IS THE TIME TO SUPPORT US AGAIN.

If have ever admired Timeless Kitchen ....
THIS IS THE TIME TO ACTUALISE YOUR ADMIRATION.

We are fully functional.

We are ready.

We are cooking.

We are baking.

We are brewing organic drinks

We are taking orders.

And honestly, we need you.

Please patronise us as much as you can.

Your order can help us recover.

Your recommendation can bring us a new customer.

We are available for christmas & ember months deals....

Your repost can put us in front of somebody who needs what we sell.

We are back. Please help us bounce back.

PHED SERIES — PART 3: THEN SOMETHING I DIDN'T EXPECT HAPPENED.

After three weeks of darkness…

After the food wastage…

After the cancelled orders…

After the refunds…

After the generator also packed up…

After four days of physically going to the PHED office…

And after writing that eight-page letter…

They came back.

And this is the part that still makes me pause.

When they came to restore the electricity…

they restored MY supply.

Mine.

While other people were still without power.

At that moment, I just stood there.

Because you know when you've been fighting a problem for so long that you almost stop believing it can be solved?

That was me.

I had already gone from:

“How do I fix this?”

to:

“Can I even keep this business running?”

But my light came back.

And suddenly, the fridges could work.

The freezers could work.

Production could resume.

I could breathe.

But the story wasn't completely over.

The major charges they had initially put forward were eventually dropped, and I was asked to pay only the administrative charge.

I'm still trying to understand why I had to pay an administrative charge after the major charge was dropped.
That's another conversation entirely. 😂

But the biggest lesson for me was this:

I spent four days talking.

Then I wrote one detailed letter.

And the letter made the headway.

Sometimes, you don't need to shout louder.

You need to document better.

I'll tell you the biggest lesson I took from this experience in PART 4.

And while you're following this story, please don't forget us.

We are back. We are fully operational. We are ready to cook, bake, package and serve you.

But after everything we lost, we need your patronage to bounce back.

Please order from us.

Even if it's just one meal.

One cake: birthday or wedding

One tray: mini, midi or maxi

One zobo. One Tigernut drink. One power green. One yogurt, greek yogurt or even granola

One Pastry, Smallchops, Bread or Chinchin.....

One recommendation.

It all counts.

PHED SERIES — PART 2: I STOPPED TALKING AND STARTED WRITING.

After four consecutive days of going to the PHED office…

I was tired. Not just physically tired.
Emotionally tired.

I had explained the situation over and over again.

There was a suspected bypass issue that I was trying to explain to them.

I tried to make them understand the circumstances surrounding it.

But somehow, I just wasn't getting through.

And meanwhile, my business was bleeding.

Food was spoiling.

Orders were being cancelled.

Some customers had to be refunded.

Small chops we had prepared for upcoming deliveries spoiled before we could even fry them.

Things that were supposed to become somebody's birthday food, celebration food, family meal…

ended up in the trash.

So I finally told myself:

Enough.

If talking wasn't getting through, I was going to put everything down in writing.

And I wrote.

Not two paragraphs.

Not one page.

EIGHT PAGES.

I documented everything.

Every situation.

Every explanation.

Every detail.

Everything I had tried to tell them for those four days.

I wasn't insulting anybody.

I wasn't making threats.

I simply told the story, laid out the facts and followed the proper channel.

And honestly?

That letter became my voice.

Because sometimes, you can keep talking and people still don't understand you.

But when you put everything down clearly…
people have something concrete to look at.

And that eight-page letter?

That was where things finally started changing.

I'll tell you what happened when they eventually came back in PART 3.

And please remember us.

Timeless Kitchen is fully functional again, and we genuinely need your patronage to bounce back from this loss.

Order something.

Send someone our way.

Every single order helps.

THE DAY I OPENED MY FREEZER AND MY HEART BROKE. 💔

For three whole weeks, my business had no electricity.

And I don't think people truly understand what that means for a food business until they've experienced it.

I didn't just lose light.

I lost food.
I lost products.
I lost orders.
I lost money.
I lost sleep.
My BP became a mess
I almost lost hope.

At some point, I literally took on a new job:
DISCARDING FOOD. It became my job

I was constantly opening the fridge and freezer, looking for what had gone bad.

I carried things out to throw away.

I took bags and packs of spoiled food to the trash.

Then more.

And more.

Until there was almost nothing left to throw away.

We had orders cancelled.

We had to decline orders.

We prepared small chops ahead of delivery, ready to be fried and sent out… and they spoiled before the delivery date.

Imagine preparing food with your money, your time, your labour and your heart — only to stand there and throw it all away.

But the day I opened the freezers, 3 of them😪😪 and saw what had happened inside…

My heart broke into several pieces.

That was the day I honestly wondered:

“Can I still do this?”

And as if that wasn't enough…

the generator packed up too after 2 days.

At that point, I was looking at my business and wondering whether it was time to shut everything down.

But there is more to this story.

Because I had already spent four consecutive days going to the PHED office, trying to explain what had happened.

Four days.

And I kept going back.

Until I realised I had to try a different approach.

Check my next post for PART 2.

And please, if you've ever bought from Timeless Kitchen or planning to, we need you now more than ever.

We're back, we're fully functional, and we're trying to rebuild what we lost.

Please patronise us. Every order matters right now. ❤️
