Today, I watched my children turn the sitting room into a tiny world of noise, pillows, crayons, laughter, and scattered slippers.
For a second, I almost complained about the mess.
Then I paused.
One day, these little feet will grow.
This place will be quiet, the endless “Mummy, watch me!” will become silence and memories.
And I realized something quietly beautiful.
Children are not interruptions.
They are gifts wrapped in noise, questions, energy, and wonder.
This Children’s Day, may we not only raise smart children, but children who feel loved, heard, safe, and valued.
May our homes become places where their hearts can grow healthy, not just their bodies.
To every child:
May your laughter never be stolen.
May your voice never be silenced.
May you grow with wisdom, confidence, kindness, and joy.
May God protect your innocence and guide your future.
May you become everything heaven designed you to be.
Happy Children’s Day to the little lights making our lives fuller
