HOW I GOT A CAKE ORDER THROUGH A CHILD 🥹
It was a particular Monday morning, and I went out to deliver a cake myself. While I was carrying the cake in my hand, a little boy saw me and started following me, asking questions about the cake because it was a kiddies cake. 😂😂
In my mind, I was like, “Is this boy going to buy a cake or stress me?” 🤷😂
The next thing he said was, “Aunty, please give me your number so I can call you.” 🥹
At that moment, I had doubts about whether I should give him my number or not. Eventually, I gave it to him.
That same evening, I received a WhatsApp message from the boy’s mum asking for pictures of my cakes. She told me that her son really wanted her to buy a cake from me. 🥹❤️
After I sent the pictures, she chose a design, made payment, and we sealed the deal!
That particular day, I learnt an important lesson about business: Never underestimate anyone. You never know who could take your business to the next level.
The person you overlook today could become one of your biggest clients tomorrow. ❤️
