A man walked into my office today, holding his car key like someone who had been debating this decision all morning.
He tried to look calm, but there was a quiet seriousness in his eyes.
He said, “Please, I want a surprise package for someone… something simple, but very meaningful.”
When I asked who the gift was for, his voice softened immediately.
“It’s for a lady who has been there for me this year… even when I didn’t deserve it. She stood by me through everything.”
