MEATPIE RECIPE
This particular measurement will give you 12 - 24 pieces of Meatpie depending on the size of Meatpie cutter you use

Ingredients needed
750g of Flour
300g of Margarine
500g of diced cooked beef
500g of neatly diced Irish potatoes
500g of neatly diced carrots
Spring onions (desired quantity)
1 tablespoon of Baking powder
Pinch of Salt
Spices (1 seasoned cube, thyme,curry,ginger,garlic,tumeric)
Chopped Bell pepper
Chopped Red pepper
Warm water
Extra flour
Extra margarine for frying
1 Egg

Tools needed:
Round big cutter
Meat pie cutter
Brush for egg washing
Parchment paper
Baking tray

Procedure
For the Meatpie fillings:
1) Boil the meat and add the spices ,Then dice it when it cooks
2) dice the carrot ,Irish potatoes, onions, spring onions and bleach them in a bowl by adding very hot water which will cover them and add 1 tablespoon of Baking Powder and soak for 5 mins,Then sift them out in a sieve
3) Add little margarine and fry the bleached carrot,Irish potatoes, spring onion,onions and add the chopped pepper and bell pepper ,stir and add little salt and seasoned cubes and keep stiring
4) sprinkle little flour and warm water to the fried veggies just to make it moist
5)then remove from heat and allow to cool

Part B.. Forming the Meatpie dough
1) sift flour into a bowl and add the margarine and Mix with your hands till it mixes well by rubbing in method
2) then add very cold water and pinch of salt
3)knead the dough and allow to set for 5 mins
4) then roll out the dough and cut out into round shapes, Then put each circles into the Meatpie cutter, scoop in fillings and the rub water to seal it and the cut off the excess dough with the Meatpie cutter and get the desired Meatpie shape
5) then add parchment paper to the baking tray and Put all the cut meatpies neatly arranged on it
6) Then whisk your egg and use brush ,dip in and rub on all the ready to bake meatpies (this is the egg wash process)
7)Preheat the oven for 15mins

HOW TO MAKE FISH ROLL

INGREDIENTS

(Fish roll dough)
1/3 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon yeast
3 tablespoons sugar
3 tablespoons butter
Warm water
Pinch of salt
3 cups flour

(Fish roll filling)
1 fresh fish (titus)
2 medium size onion
1 teaspoon curry powder
Fresh chilli pepper to taste
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
Vegetable oil for frying
Salt to taste
2 teaspoon Chili powder
1 knorr cube

Procedures:

1. Pour the yeast and sugar into warm water and set aside.
The yeast here helps to give it an inner fluffy texture without drying out.

2. Combine flour, baking powder, butter and salt in a bowl. Add yeast mixture to the flour mixture to form a flexible dough. Cover bowl to stand for 30 minutes

3. Place rinsed fish in an empty pot. Add pureed onion, salt to taste, curry, garlic and chilli powder. Add a little water and leave to cook for 10 minutes.

3. Remove the fish from the stock and remove bones. Crush and mash up the fish and set aside.

4. Heat 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a pot and add the crushed fish. Add blended pepper, onion, and seasoning cube and stir fry the content for 5 minutes on low heat and set aside.

5. Divide dough into sizeable pieces of the ball, take one ball of dough and roll it out with a rolling pin. Add the fish filling and roll up. Seal the rolls with a fingertip dipped in water/flour mixture, and rub the rolls at the edges.

6. Fry until golden brown.

7. Remove from the oil and drain on a paper towel placed in a sieve.

Soft bread rolls or Buns recipe

Ingredients/ measurements
4 cups flour
2 tsp yeast
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp sugar
1/4 cooking oil
Warm water

Instructions

Mix all the dry ingredients in one boil and mix well, which is flour,sugar, salt,yeast.

Then make a hole and pour oil in the flour and mix well until it becomes like crumbs.

Put 2 cups of warm water or more In your flour and nead your dough until it stops sticking In your hands.
N.B flour should not be very tough or too soft but medium.

After neading leave it to proof for 25 to 30 minutes.

Grease your pan with oil or butter
Then start making them in small round like a ball to your baking tray or loaf tin.

Leave again to proof for 10 to 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven before putting your bread at 200 degrees Celsius.

When the oven is hot enough,you can put your baking pan.

Wait until golden Brown and enjoy. 😋😋😋

PUFF PUFF
RECIPE

2 cups of flour
2 teaspoon of instant yeast
Half cup of sugar
Fresh pepper
Onions
Luke warm water
A pinch of salt
I teaspoon of nutmeg
1 table spoon of milk flavour

PROCEDURE
Dissolve yeast in lukewarm water if it's not instant yeast, if it's instant yeast add it directly..

Sieve flour into a bowl
Add half cup of sugar
Add a pinch of salt
Add nutmeg
Add milk flavour
Add yeast and mix

Add lukewarm water till you achieve the consistency
Note: puff puff is not a dough nor a running batter

Cover the bowl for 40 to 45mins and keep it in sun, or you place it on hot water to rise..
(always be careful with this process so the puff puff won't rise and fall, if it does, your puff puff will be bad)

When you are ready to fry, add fresh pepper and onions then fry

It can be easy for anyone to confuse them, especially if you are new in baking.

There are some common mixing term that can help you perfect your next cake.

BEAT: Combine ingredients until smooth and aerated by using a stand mixer, hand mixed or whisk.

CREAM: The process of mixing a fat (butter, cream, cheese or shortening) with sugar. It is typically done with hand or stand mixer and will likely take a few minutes.

WHIP: Mix until soft , stiff peak form. Typically only done for cream or egg White.

FOLD: A gentle method that carefully combines ingredients until just combine by using a rubber spatula.
