"CAKE EDU WED"- 4 HACKS TO SEPARATE EGGS:
Knowing how to separate eggs is a crucial baking skill as many dessert recipes like ice creams, meringues, mousses, call for either egg yolks or the egg whites.
:
Here are FOUR different ways to separate egg whites from egg yolks, with photos on exactly how it’s done!
:
:
PRO TIP - It is easiest to separate when the eggs are cold as the yolks have less chance of breaking. Have three bowls. One for the egg white, yolk, and a transition bowl to keep the egg whites clean. Egg whites won't whip if there are traces of yolk in them...
:
HACK 1-
Separation by using the shell:
Break the shell into two even halves over a bowl. Transfer the yolk from one shell to the other, tilting the eggs back and forth and allowing the white to drip out of the shells and into the bowl. Repeat until most of the white has dripped into the bowl. Drop the yolk into a second bowl.
:
HACK 2-
Separation by the Hand:
Crack the egg into a Bowl. Take a clean hand, and reach into the bowl and lift out one of the yolks. Keep your fingers slightly separated, letting the whites slip through your fingers. Transfer the yolk to your other hand, letting more whites slip out until all whites have dropped out. Be careful not to poke with hands

So easy to try out, right?
The remaining two hacks will be shared next week..
