I know I have not been very active here lately.

Sometimes life just moves according to the situation around us.

Right now, things have been a bit challenging. We usually get two days of light and one day off, but since the beginning of February, it has been worse.

We have been buying fuel constantly just to keep food in the freezer from spoiling.

Honestly, the hike in fuel prices has slowed down a lot of the plans I had. Things I wanted to do, things I planned for my business and family have had to pause for now.

I'm not really happy about the situation, but at the same time, what can we do? We keep pushing, we keep hoping for better days.

To everyone out there facing one challenge or another, may God give us the strength to keep going.
Better days will surely come. 🙏

My name is Ogunfile Mosunmola Oluwanifemi.

I am a first-time mum to a beautiful little damsel who has completely changed my world.

Being a mother has taught me so much about love, patience, and growth.

I am also a baker and a food lover. Anything that has to do with baking, cooking, and creating delicious treats excites me.

The kitchen is one of the places where I truly express myself.

As a first-time mum, I’m also learning to speak up, be expressive, and stand for what I believe in, because I have been called names before that I would never want anyone to call my daughter… or any child at all.
