One Of Those Days, I Ran Out Of Some Baking Items And Rushed To One Of Our Regular Cake Store For Some Replacements, But My List Was Quite Short That Day And All I Needed Was On The Same Shelf, So In No Time I Was Done.

The Attendant Quoted My Bill Right There On The Spot And I Paid In Cash But He Put The Money In His Pocket And Didn't Move To Get Me A Receipt, So I Just Hurriedly Asked If That Was It And If I Could Go, And He Quickly Confirmed That I Could Go While Escorting Me To The Exit Door.

I Was Almost Out Of Ikota Plaza When I Called My Partner To Register My Discomfort In The Fact That This Attendant Didn't Tender A Receipt, Which Was Unlike This Cake Store Since We've Been Patronizing Them.

So She Advised... Nay... She Practically Ordered Me To Head Back And Request For A Receipt.

It Was Quite A Long Walk Back To The Store But I Walked The Distance Anyway.

By The Time I Got There, This Attendant Spotted Me And Immediately Rushed To Accost Me At The Entrance And Inquired If There Was A Problem...

Well, While Still Walking Straight To The Payment Desk, I Said No, Of Course Not... I Just Wanted My Receipt.

At This Point The Attendant Was Obviously Uncomfortable And The Other Attendant At The Payment Desk Was Shocked At My Request For A Receipt And Asked If I Bought Anything.

Yes I Replied As I Brought Out The Items From My Backpack... I Did Buy Some Things And I Paid In Cash But I Didn't Get A Receipt.

By This Time The Attendant Possibly Faked A Call And Stepped Out To Fake A Conversation.

The Attendant At The Front Desk Confirmed That She Saw Me Walk In But When I Left, She Felt I Didn't Find What I Came To Get And This Other Attendant Didn't Remit Any Funds To Her Even After I Left.

I Don't Know How It Was Handled Because I Didn't Wait... But I Also Own A Business And I Wouldn't Be Happy Employing A Staff That Contributes To Bringing Down My Business By Any Means, Directly Or Indirectly.

Its Totally Difficult Finding Someone That Would Treat And Handle Your Business Like Its Theirs... Especially With The Unemployment Rate In The Country Where Everyone Just Needs A Source Of Income And Most Others Need An Extra Illegal Source In Between.

Don't Aid Anyone To Spoil Someone Else's Business.
