I had the privilege of attending GWR 3.0 with last Saturday, and I must say, it was truly enlightening!
Theme: Maximizing Your Twenties
Every session was impactful, and the guest ministers delivered powerful insights on their topics.
During Pastor Femi Oyewunmi’s session, I learned the importance of setting goals early. Our twenties should be dedicated to skill acquisition and building a solid foundation for our future.
Key takeaways:
• Fund your future: Focus on upskilling—wealth isn’t built by just saving. Personally, I’ve decided to increase my investments rather than rely solely on saving.
• Break the quick-money mindset: Sustainable growth takes time.
• Emergency funds are a must: Invest wisely, in stocks, shares, etc. He also recommended trusted apps and emphasized having a financial advisor to avoid poor investment decisions.
In the second panel session, I was reminded that failure isn’t the end, it’s simply feedback. I also learned the importance of consistently evaluating and negotiating with life to move forward intentionally.
These are just a few of the many gems that were shared. I’m so grateful I attended, my mindset has truly shifted!
I also ran into familiar faces and had such a great time. This is one conference I would absolutely attend again and again!
