One thing nobody tells you. Connections can open doors that money cannot.

That's why building relationships may be more important than chasing money alone.

The truth is, many relationships were never true friendships to begin with—not even when there was money.

People are naturally drawn to opportunities, value, and growth. That's why it's important to build meaningful relationships, not just chase money. Sometimes, the right connection can open doors that money alone cannot.

Don't feel inferior around people who seem more successful than you. Instead, learn from them, connect with them, and build genuine relationships. Hiding away because you're struggling only makes the journey lonelier.

Also, friendship is often an exchange of value—not necessarily money, but ideas, support, skills, character, encouragement, and shared experiences. Invest in yourself. Learn. Grow. Solve problems. Become someone who contributes positively to the lives of others.

If you constantly complain about having no friends, it may be worth asking yourself: Am I putting myself out there? Am I building relationships? Am I bringing value to the people around me?

The goal isn't to become rich so people will like you. The goal is to become a person worth knowing.

Nineteen days.

That's how long dozens of children have remained in captivity while families wait, hope, and ask the same question every day.

Some are toddlers. Some left for school and never returned.

Every day in captivity is one day too many.

Where are they?

Am I the only one who sees things this way?

The first thing I look for in an employee is honesty. I don't care as much about certificates, standards, or pieces of paper. If you're confident enough to apply for a role, I can give you a trial period and even provide training.

But if you come with a fake identity, how can I trust you with my business?

You're asking me to hand over my resources, my customers, and sometimes even access to my family and other staff members. If you can lie about who you are from the start, what else are you capable of hiding?

What surprises me is that many people don't seem to see beyond the fake identity itself.

Would I sack such an employee immediately? Not necessarily. I would place them on probation and require them to provide all genuine documents for verification. But even after that, trust would need to be rebuilt over time.

This isn't just about job performance. There are many capable and honest people still searching for opportunities that others obtained through deception.

Many business owners in Nigeria suffer from this exact problem. You hear stories of employees disappearing with company money, and all the employer is left with is CCTV footage. Once the person changes their SIM card, they become almost impossible to trace. No verified address, no valid identification, no school records, no NIN—nothing. The only real thing left is the face on the camera and an old phone number.

For me, using a fake identity is not a small mistake. It raises a serious red flag. If I discover that someone deliberately concealed who they are, my first thought is that they may have joined the business with dishonest intentions.

Trust can be built, but it starts with telling the truth about who you are.

Happy children's day

There was once a country were people lived freely… now fear resides with us. Uncertainty lives amongst us. Stay and build your country they say. Stay where? Home is nolonger safe. Home is no longer home. Our children are kidnapped right before our eyes. Every mother’s nightmare is here. You might say it cannot be me. Lol those mothers, teachers, students children. Nysc corpers thought so too. A better Nigeria is what we seek… 😢

Some designers still don’t understand that AI has changed the game.

My graphic designer refused to send me the soft copy of my sticker because he felt I would stop printing with him. Well, I eventually found a better designer — more like a printing school — and their sticker prices were very affordable.
I snapped my sticker, sent it to ChatGPT to recreate a printable soft copy for me, and surprisingly it did. I forwarded the design to the new printer and since then, production has been moving smoothly.
Few days later, my former designer messaged me asking why I hadn’t been coming around anymore. I simply forwarded the AI-generated printable design to him. He replied, ‘Wow.’
I said, ‘Yeah 🙂’ …then blocked him.

You can’t be a one-man soldier and still expect an army to show up in difficult times.

I respect introverts — I’m an introvert myself — but being introverted doesn’t mean isolating yourself from people. In a world filled with billions of humans, you can’t realistically do life completely alone.

You can be introverted and still build healthy relationships with clear boundaries. You need people — in business, in life, mentally, emotionally, and intellectually. Human connection helps growth.

Some people push everyone away, give off “stay distant” energy, never check on others, barely communicate, yet expect people to magically know when they need support or celebrate them loudly. People are not witches.

If nobody feels close enough to approach you, maybe it’s time for self-reflection. Learn the difference between being an introvert and being a loner. One is a personality trait, the other can become emotional isolation.
